ISDA and DTCC Collaborate to Extend Digital Regulatory Reporting to MiFID/MiFIR
The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) is expanding its Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) solution to encompass reporting requirements under the EU and UK Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and Regulation (MiFIR). The initiative involves a partnership with The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) to integrate ISDA DRR into DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR) MiFID/MiFIR Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM).
DTCC has announced plans to launch an ARM within its GTR service, pending regulatory approval, to facilitate compliance with MiFID/MiFIR transaction reporting mandates in the EU and UK. The collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency of transaction reporting processes, with a focus on improving data accuracy and acceptance rates.
